Call for Papers

The 13th Iran Workshop on Communication and Information Theory (IWCIT) will take place on May 6th to 8th, 2025, and consist of in-person sessions only, with the possibility of online presentation for abroad speakers and authors. This event is organized by Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. IWCIT features world-class speakers, plenary talks, professional tutorials, and technical sessions on a diverse range of fundamental and applied topics in communication and information theory. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality, original, and unpublished contributions to IWCIT 2025. All submitted papers will be subject to peer review. The scope of the workshop includes (but not limited to) the topics listed here.

Paper Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit original manuscripts for presentation at the 13th Iran Workshop on Communication and Information Theory. Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EDAS (The link will be activated on Jan. 5, 2025). All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of Six 6 printed pages (10-point font) including figures. Standard IEEE conference templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats are found here. Papers should be submitted to one of the tracks mentioned in CFP.

Final Paper Submission


Camera-ready versions of accepted papers must be submitted on EDAS for inclusion in the workshop proceedings. Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers’ recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. Your camera-ready paper must be submitted no later than April 10th, 2025 in order to be included in the workshop proceedings. 

Author registration
At least one author of each paper must register by April 20th, 2025 for the paper to appear in Final Program and the Proceedings.
